The Lark, Nine Elms

The Lark is part of the Nine Elms development providing community use at the ground floor whilst also delivering over 260 new homes. Turkington Martin were appointed to design and oversee the implementation of the public realm and first floor communal podium plans.

The podium level landscape draws inspiration from the tidal wetlands which historically covered the area, informing the geometry and planting scheme. The proposals provide opportunities for quiet contemplation, meeting and greeting, organised events as well as play to deliver a space for all ages.
