New space at the centre of regeneration proposals for apartments, workshops and the Dalston Culture Centre which also integrate existing market ‘pods’.

The concept uses a simple vocabulary of elements to create active edges which enclose and define a central, flexible space for managed performance, community events and markets.

The disposition of forms was influenced by the calm geometric composition of Piet Mondrian and Mies’s Barcelona Pavilion.
