We are delighted to announce the opening of Victory Community Park in Walworth. This million pound project for the London Borough of Southwark, transforms this local park into a vibrant, inclusive space for all to enjoy. The refurbishment proposals, which were developed through extensive engagement with local people, include upgraded sports and play facilities together with new lawn, structure planting and the creation of wildflower meadows.
Councillor Portia Mwangangye, Cabinet Member for Parks and Open Spaces said;
“The upgrade is a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together to shape the future of their local area. We are proud of the work that has been done here and look forward to seeing the park become a thriving centre of activity for the East Walworth community.”
