Turkington Martin are excited to have been appointed to develop landscape proposals for the Lancaster West Estate, with the aim to help realise the ambition of it becoming a 21st Century Garden Estate. Working closely with the resident community and Lancaster West Neighbourhood Team, we will be learning about issues affecting the community, talking about ideas and aspirations and developing proposals that make meaningful change for the residents as part of our co-design approach.
The purpose of our engagement and co-design process is to ensure the right design is being proposed for the right place as well as developing and promoting ownership over the emerging landscape proposals and interventions, empowering the resident community to feel they have the ability to positively change the place they call home.
